More than 200 delegates convened in  the Nkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital Hall, Durban earlier this week. the SA NCD Alliance. in partnership with the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health held the first KZN NCD Indaba (isiZulu for meeting). The event was an unprecedented success with KZN MEC for Health, Dr Dhlomo galvanizing the delegates: “We need to start treating NCDs with the same passion as with HIV/AIDs and that we need to become aware that we can change our NCD future.”

Our thanks goes out to all those that attended contributing to the fight against NCDs. Special thanks to our partner NGOs, industry delegates and especially the KZN Department of Health Dr Jimmy Mthethwa Sindi Mthethwa and team. We worked tirelessly to put the indaba together in just six weeks.
