South African Non-Communicable Diseases Alliance (SANCDA+)
The SANCDA+ is a health and social justice advocacy grouping of individuals and organisations seeking to uphold the human rights of people living with NCDs+ (PLWNCDs+) in South Africa.
The SANCDA+ exists to ensure that PLWNCDs+ at any age, get their constitutional right to equal and quality NCDs+ prevention and management services and support without experiencing financial hardship.
Founded by 4 trusted NCDs+ advocacy organisations with over 200 years of service to South Africa in 2013. The founding members are the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA), Diabetes SA, Heart and Stroke Foundation SA and PHANGO. Today it consists of more than 100 organisations and independent members allies and partners.
